Well known Passenger Transport Authority, Merseytravel, approached us with a brief to design a logo for a new concept they were piloting called ‘Mtogo’. Mtogo will be a combined ticket office and convenience store operating out of nine Liverpool Trail Stations. Working alongside Merseytravel’s Publicity Department we created a clean, modern looking brand mark that would appeal to their target audience and stand the tests of time.
M to go stores are an integrated part of the passenger journey. We have focused on people’s needs while they are traveling: some people simply need a ticket as fast as possible, whereas others arrive early at the station and want to buy something to eat.
Merseytravel wanted to retain some of the visual elements from their brand to retain consistency and visual recognition for customers. By preserving the circular ‘M’, the Merseytravel typeface and colours from their palette we were able to create a unique and distinguishable logo that could be used across all ‘Mtogo’ marketing collateral.
We really enjoy working with Merseytravel and their Publicity Department and we look forward to many more exciting projects in the future.
